I’ve sent over 21 million emails for an online store. Using Klaviyo’s automated flows, which ran in the background 24/7, revenue generated was £103,000 in one year.
Here’s how the stats stacked up, along with a small selection of some of the most successful email campaigns, and images that I created.
(Please note that I wouldn’t normally publicise this kind of detail, but it’s OK on this occasion.)
“This photo might look ordinary to many, but it's extremely poignant….”

A group photo of those brave enough to walk across hot coals.
Can you feel the heat yet?

The name’s Bond… In the 1960s, Raymond Hawkey designed Ian Fleming's James Bond books for Pan - and they still look good today. Many authors have tried their hand at writing Bond novels - along with many different styles - and I thought it would be interesting to see how the John Gardner, Peter Benson, Steve Cole, etc, Bond books would look if they followed the same style. As you can see, some titles have different images as I couldn’t decide which one to show!

I was trying to learn Swift - Apple’s own programming language - and became more and more frustrated with Apple’s official guide which I found difficult to follow.
So I created my own…

Bold images over comic book backgrounds. No text, as the characters are already well known, and the company logo is placed sympathetically.
How do you advertise to your largest group of customers on A Great Read? And you can’t include much text? The answer? Pick out some of the best lines from the books…
Includes work I created on iPad with Apple Pencil and the Procreate app, as well as pen & ink and watercolour.
A selection of bookmarks which went out in deliveries - and each one visually described a book. Can you guess what they are? Design and book ideas by rob.
